Greetings Cards

This selection of greetings cards may be downloaded and printed off for personal use only.

The designs and photographs are copyright and may not be used commercially nor for any form of sale; the copyright details must be retained on each copy. They were produced for private use in small quantities so the production methods are a bit basic!

The trimmed and folded cards are 124 mm x 177 mm. They fit envelopes 133mm x 184mm which I have bought online from Ideal Envelopes in the past, choosing Recycled White from a selection of papers and colours.

Hints for printing:

If you are printing them yourself, I have used A4 260 gsm gloss inkjet paper. Be very careful to check that the reverse side is blank: some brands have logos printed on the back and others have a granular texture, ok for printing photos but unsuitable for card production. Over the last few years I have been buying from photo paper direct or hartwii.

  1. Fold the card before trimming. I pierce the top and bottom of the centre lines with a craft knife or scalpel to produce a guide for scoring the reverse side down the centre to produce a neat fold.
  2. Trim the folded card to the size of the black corner trim lines, cutting off the excess 'bleed' where it exists.
  3. Use the reverse of a bit of the trimmed paper to test that the pen you plan to write with will fully dry
